Vietnam scaling up sustainable and green coffee production

Government officials and industry executives at the 2023 Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, held in the central highland province of Dak Lak this week, said Vietnam's coffee industry would turn to green and sustainable transition to address its environmental and economic vulnerability.

The 2023 Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, themed "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of coffee worldwide", will take place in Buon Ma Thuot city and several other localities in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak, from March 10-14.

Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival expected to attract about 50,000 visitors

The festival includes 18 main activities; in which, the opening program of the festival with the theme “Buon Ma Thuot – Destination of world coffee” will take place at 8 pm, March 10; The closing program of the festival with the theme “Buon Ma Thuot, coffee city – The place where creativity originates” took place at 8 pm, March 14.

To introduce, propagate and promote this event to a large number of people nationwide, on March 1, 2023, the People’s Committee of Dak Lak province issued a document to the People’s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities asking for support.
